April 27, 2026
Today, PulseLink Systems and Signal Point Networks filed a patent infringement complaint in the Eastern District of Texas against Zoom through our legal partner Boies Schiller Flexner LLP.
The Complaint asserts infringement concerning foundational communications technologies originally developed in the Avaya portfolio, including real-time media processing, network traversal, bandwidth management, and collaboration infrastructure.
Our preference has always been to resolve portfolio matters through constructive licensing discussions. Litigation is not our first choice, but it is sometimes necessary to ensure that important innovation is respected and properly valued.
We will continue to engage professionally with companies across the industry and remain open to business-oriented resolutions.
